All earrings are made entirely with recycled, re-used, natural and high quality components. Each piece is handcrafted especially for you, assuring the best possible quality and avoiding overproduction.

Polymer Clay

Polymer clay is composed of polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and liquid plasticiser. Although polymer clay is a plastic product I try to utilize it in the most sustainable way possible. By using only recycled and reused polymer clay, already existing resources are used. While polymer clay might not be the most sustainable material out there, it allows to create a product which is lightweight and durable, and hopefully worn for decades to come.

Resin

Epoxy resin is mostly known for its hazardous and non-sustainable features, since conventional resin is made from fossil fuels. However, I’m using bio-based epoxies made from renewable resources and waste materials. Bio-resin is water-based and non-toxic.

Leaves and flowers

All leaves and flowers are locally & seasonally picked and preserved. I use silica gel and heat press techniques to dehydrate and ultimately uphold nature’s beauty.

metal parts

Earring posts and rings are 18k gold-plated. There is nothing more annoying than your favourite jewelery changing color. But don’t worry, this won’t happen since the material is tarnish-proof. Optionally hypoallergenic 925 sterling silver studs are available.

Packaging

The packaging is 100% recycled, from earring tags to cushioning material. Each earring display card is unique and matching the desired pair of earrings.

I source metals and crafting supplies from German suppliers where possible. Some of the local suppliers include Natur Schatulle, Bacabella and Fischer Goldschmiedebedarf.
